Divided Against A Blackened SkyDivided against a blackened sky,
No idea where my loyalties lie;
I've been outcast by the people I knew:
I can't find anyone who will stand true.
I fought beside them for so long
I don't know where I went wrong
Now I'm left here alone
Never have I been so far from home.
Walking by myself in the dark
My soul is tearing apart.
Feeling longing for what I lack
But I know I can never go back
Even as the darkness closes in,
This is where I'm supposed to begin
I cannot live, yet I will not die
For I'm divided against a blackened Sky.
The Parking LotWith late afternoon sunlight light shining down
On a parking lot filled only with trees
A warm wind is tasting my heart's dark depths
Seeking a soul where only ashes die

A crow, called Kraehe, lands beside my feet
His glossy black eyes staring at me
He utters something in his course language
And naturally, I fail to understand

He pecks the cement and a crack is formed
It grows, splitting open the earth as well
And rising from the depths of this crevice
Are time-worn tombstones into the daylight

Stretching the whole length of the parking lot
This line of grave markers, despite sun's kiss
Speaks of what midnight intends to perform

Forever the RavenousBeyond the veil hallowed, I am Witches blood & wine;
flame of throne, soothsayer & death, magick seething
Come hither; drink me dark'n divine

Whispers of Night's harvest, ravenous in twilight eerie;
— tongues of Crows in gothic serenade
Poised in wilderness shadowed, I beseech thee:
"O' darkest Love, seek me in decay, dripping from thy lips"
Incantations of the Moon glisten from mine eyes ...
Seraphic-winds undress Demons in the trees;
— dreaming streams o'er Nature's breast
Black-feathered-Priests covet my nocuous splendor
— For I am Winter's nocturne —
a dark-mantra, salivating on the edge of the world
And so she peered into

I thrive and depend on your compliments

And it is only then as a direct consequence,

Am I truly able to write with confidence.

Even though your words are only temporary.

I deem your contribution as utterly necessary,

In order to refresh my wavering, selective memory.

Whether it is congratulatory or discouragingly brutal.

Your input is the one thing that is most crucial.

Can I call myself a writer if I don't believe in myself?

When I constantly seek approval from everyone else?

How can I then expect to make any sort of wealth?

Of a craft and skill I still think any

From death I come
This lie is not
To bring upon ye head
A simple Ravens Peak.

To douse the light
in ever splendid sight

Renn's GoodbyeI held my head high as they opened the iron bars.
"Let's get this over with." It was Ben. Ben had come to lead me to my own execution. Ben was leading me to death. But that was okay. Nothing mattered now. I was giving up. Because that's what I had to do. There was no way out.

The Dearest Dark Things

The pulsing pound within my head
The monsters underneath my bed
And all the things I never said

They leave me all alone

The whispers near me in the night
They're always wrong and never right
I note that they don't come with light

They never leave my side

Contradictions that I speak
As slowly my heart grows so weak
And my veins all bleed death's reek

Trust me I know nothing

Quiet now, they tie me down
In a pure white flowing gown
And on my head place bloodied crown

Yes I am their queen

I can't tell the things apart
The things that are real or in my heart
Because the world is all just gruesome art

Look at my lovely dark things

They follow closer, at my heel
And before me, used to kneel
And still do if I keep the deal

But blood is deadly poison

Away we go, away we slam
Another deed for us to damn
Another slaughtered bloody lamb

The dark things, no listen to-

To late, to late
We'll never stop at this rate
Not until our marked death date

What's happening to me, why can't I move

I try to back up, I try to back out,
See what all this is about
But now I can't swerve from this route

These aren't my darling dark things

These are the monsters from my head
The ones that used to haunt my bed
And now they take my blood to shed

I love the rhyme scheme within this. You have brought it about quite well and it adds to the poem greatly.
And for someone who is light/bubbly you sure tapped into your dark side ;)
