I walked inside of the house and closed the door quitly. I walked forward slowly, suddenly nervouse. "Luke?" I called out.
"Come on in Clary. Is Jace with you?" He didn't sound too mad.
"No."
"Good."
I walked into the living room and saw he was sitting on the couch with a book. I couldn't make out the title from were I was standing but the cover was frayed and worn so I guessed it was one of his favorites, one he had read often. I wasn't sure weather that was a good sign or or a bad one.
"Luke I'm-"
He waved a hand in the air. "Don't worry about it."

I hadn't noticed. "Sorry." I looked down at my lap and twisted a shred of ripped cloth around my finger, resisting the urge to tie it in a knot.

I drew back the bowstring and moved forward quietly. The deer had no clue I was stalking it, and that would mean it's death. I pulled back the string a little farther now; I had the perfect shot. I let it go and the arrow flew through the air and hit the deer perfectly. None of the meat was going to be damaged.
I jumped down from the ledge were I had been perched and sprinted over to the fallen deer. It was a pretty good size for a deer, to.
I grabbed the dear and hoisted it over my shoulders with a grunt. And started home.
The streets of the newly built district 12 were fairly empty still, it was taking people a long time to come back.
